Women of Hope Executive Board

The Executive Board is comprised of President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, Fundraising Chair, Publicity Chair, Volunteers Management Chair, and the Administrative Board Chair.

The Executive Committee shall be responsible for the management and administration of WOMEN OF HOPE.  The responsibilities of the Executive Committee shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

·         To formulate and actively support WOMEN OF HOPE objectives, policies and programs and to interpret them to the community.

·         To maintain the legal and corporate status of WOMEN OF HOPE consistent with the laws of the State of Alabama.

·         To employ such persons as are necessary to carry out the work of WOMEN OF HOPE.

·         To establish such committees and services as are necessary to carry out the work of WOMEN OF HOPE.

·         To consider and approve all budgets, allocations, and expenditures of WOMEN OF HOPE.

·         To report the actions of the Executive Committee to the Administrative Board at each Board meeting.

·         To assume such additional duties and responsibilities as may be essential to the effective operation of WOMEN OF HOPE

The Executive Committee shall hold no less than seven (7) meetings annually at times and places established by the Executive Committee.  Special meetings shall be held at the call of the President or upon the written request of three (3) members of the Executive Committee. 

Special or continued meetings called for conducting business requiring action before the next regular meeting may be held by telephone or electronic means.  A quorum is one more than one half (1/2) of the voting members.

The Executive Board is a group of dedicated men and women who strive daily to support the mission of Women of Hope.  These officers are the backbone of the WOH foundation.
